Sinopsis: 

Tokyo Ghoul Sub Indo Batch - mengisahkan kehidupan Kaneki Ken yang berubah secara drastis ketika bertemu dengan Rize Kamishiro yang ternyata adalah seorang/sesosok(?) Ghoul.

Ketika Kaneki tengah mengantarkan Rize pulang, dia hampir tewas dibunuh dan dimakan oleh Rize di tempat konstruksi. Beruntung beberapa batang besi jatuh dan menimpa tubuh Rize hingga tewas.

Untuk menyelamatkan nyawa Kaneki yang sekarat, akhirnya para dokter memindahkan organ Rize ke tubuh Kaneki hingga menjadikannya manusia setengah Ghoul.
